Day: The first of the rest of my life

All,
The Eagles have landed. The Johnsons are home.
Denise drove all the way from St. Pete. That is just over five hundred miles and a new record for her. I sat in the passenger's seat and said not a word. That is just over five hundred miles and a new record for me! She drove beautifully.
We came in just a few moments ago, maybe 7:45 or so. It is a certain bet that we have never been this exhausted. I can't help empty the car, and Denise doesn't have the strength. It will wait until tomorrow.
I have an appointment with a Urologist in the morning at 10. A prayer or two at about 10:30 will be most welcomed!
I am just too worn to type. More thanks and love.

Praise God for these last 21 days and your safe trip home. Our prayers will not cease and our love grows stronger everyday for Lord Jesus and how He works in all our lives. I believe that everyone that has kept up with your journey and the things that you and Denise have gone through this time and the previous, that this has strengthened all of our love and trust for our wonderful, powerful, awesome, God. We all know it was a very stressful, painful, worryful, unknowing surgery but I know in my walk with Christ that there are blessings in all that He does. I guess one of the biggest blessings in all of this is that you and Denise are home and our sheperd will soon be back where he belongs, preaching the true Word Of God and leading His sheep home. We have missed you both dearly and are so blessed to call you friends. Please take is easy and don't over do it. Hope to see you both soon.

I had a thing about adjectives today, sorry.

Love you guys,
The Ducketts

YEA!!!! We are glad you guys made it home safe and sound. I know you both will be glad to get some real rest. We will continue to pray for you. It will seem strange not "hearing" from you guys everyday. Don't forget to keep your friends in Alabama updated, we'll be wondering about ya. Take care, Amanda and Jerry

Pastor Aaron and Denise,
First of all, WELCOME HOME! Second of all, Denise, you rock- driving all the way home! Pastor, I'm so proud of you for sitting and not saying a word while she drove. That would be very hard for my husband to do. To not be able to say, "Watch that car...pass this slow poke...slow down, it's raining..." would be a challenge for him. We will continue to pray for your healing and can't wait to see you in the halls at Summit.
Love ya both,
Dee and family

There truly is no place like home! Welcome Back! I know you are both thrilled to be back in the comforts of familiarity.
We continue to pray, and as so many have said we are here if you need anything more.
We pray that your appointment goes well and for an awesome doctor (You know how blessed we were with Klass!).
You're both loved!

'Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, let the people rejoice....And give Him the glory great things He has done' (and is doing!) And, yes, there are song lyrics for everything! 8-)

We're so glad you are home and Car Guy and I will continue to lift you up. Tale care and don't push too hard. Hope to see you soon.

Welcome home, "click your heels three times!" Let Denise wear the ruby slippers!
Hey, since you have become a "techie", have you considered using Skype to talk to us all on Sundays?

Brother Aaron and Denise,
WELCOME HOME! I am sure sleeping in your own bed was a wonderful feeling last night...even with your new "system". You continue to be in our prayers each and EVERY day! I don't always get to write a post, but check it every day for updates to our prayer list. Denise, I am so impressed you drove all that way - I am terrible at driving long distances! Hope things continue to go smoothly this morning...right now...with the doctor.
Much love,
Candice and Ben
