Hey guys,
Thanks for checking on us and posting your comments, they truly mean more than you can know! I have to give a huge thank you to David Cofield for setting up, maintaining and attempting to teach me to use the blog. David you are a blessing in so many ways!! Thanks, i love you man!
Just wanted to drop a line and let everyone know the surgery has been delayed till 12:00 today, orginally it was to be at 10:00 a.m. (another surgery or something). I will post more when i know more. I can not possible call everyone who wants to know, so if you will please pass on this blog to anyone interested, i would most appreciate it! Thanks for your prayers and please keep them going. Aaron is having a problem with nausea so you might include that in your prayers this morning - especially since the surgery is a little delayed.
thanks again for everything!!
till next time

Pastor and Beautiful Denise!
You are both in my heart. I am praying for God's wisdom and guidance for the medical team today and in the weeks to come and for you and your family to see the Lord's joy and peace. I also pray that God will fill you up with his goodness since you won't be eating for a while!
Love you both, April Garvey

You both are in our prayers. We Love you and your family more than you know.

Psalm 66:5 says "Come and see the glorious things God has done. What marvelous miracles happen to his people.

You are his people and the Miracle that is about to happen will Gloify His name.
He will not fail you or forsake you!
Praise God for what is about to happen. He will guide you and make this to be a great new testamony in your life. I cannot wait to hear you in the pulpit tell us all the miracle God is doing right now.

God bless you both and Keep you till we can meet again soon.

The last thing Bill and I did last night, before we closed our eyes in sleep, was to lay in the darkness of our room, holding hands and pray for both of you. I wish you didn't have to go through this trial, you've been through so much already. Hope you're feeling better soon and "homesick" for Kenneworth.

Love and hugs from the whole Slayton family,

Paula

But You, O Lord, are a shield about me,My glory, and the One who lifts my head. I was crying to the LORD with my voice, and He answered me from His holy mountain. Psalms 3:3-4

I know that MANY are continually lifting you up in prayer.

We love you,

Pastor & Denise,

Our Prayers are with you through this difficult time. We believe God is using you two to do mighty works for Him. In our weakest times, God shines forth His mighty strength. Lean on Him for all your needs. His grace is sufficient. We pray for quick healing and peace through all of this.
Blessings to your family from ours.

Church met for Prayer at 2030 Tuesday nite. You will return to us triumphant over this because God is not finished with you here yet. You are much loved and respected, Pastor/Brother Aaron.
Fear not for you are in His hands.
Denise and family, you, too, were prayed for mightily last nite (and many other times)- God is providing His comfort already to your concerned hearts. Rest easy.
He is in control and He is not one bit nervous! You Johnsons are a much loved tribe at Summit. Come home soon. Tom

Aaron and Denise,
As we know, God is the Great Physician and will be close to your side during this time. We can close our eyes and feel his presence, not only in the times of pain and struggle but also during the times of blessings. You two are definitely in my prayers. "His eyes are on the sparrow, and I know he watches me (and YOU)!

Love and prayers to you both, Ruthie Benson

We've been praying here too.

Denise, thought you'd appreciate this. While eating breakfast Monday morning before VBS, Andrew said wistfully, "I hope Ms. Denise is my teacher during Bible School. I reminded Andrew that Pastor Aaron, Ms. Denise's husband, was having surgery in Florida on Wed. Caleb said hopefully, "Well, if it's just Pastor Aaron and not Ms. Denise, then maybe she'll be our teacher." I explained to both of them that Ms. Denise would probably want to be w/her husband while he was sick. Fortunately, they're both happy w/their VBS teachers!

We miss you.

Hallelujah!!! Just heard the word that there is no cancer! That fits perfectly with the word that I received Monday nite while Kay and I were deep in prayer for you two and your kids. Essentially, God said to me that He was not finished with you here at Summit. So we shared that with the church group that gathered on Tuesday nite at the worship center to pray for you. What a cause for HOPE and encouragement it was for all of us. God is GOOD - ALL the time! To God be the Glory now and forevermore. Come home soon.

We have prayed for Him to give you an extra measure of Grace and Mercy for more rapid healing - that you are DONE with this thing for the rest of your earthly life. Again, all praise, honor and glory go to Him!

in His service and yours, tom & Kay

Pastor & Denise,

You are constantly in our thoughts and prayers for a continued swift and smooth recovery. They always say that you do not go to to get well. We hope the stay will be bearable and recovery faster than expected. I missed Pastor on crazy hair day at VBS and a chance to tease him about his lack of hair. We miss you. May the good Lord shine His face upon you and give you peace.

Much love,

Joy Carroll
