Day two 10:30 a.m.

Hello dear friends,
I don't think i like nights any more! Last night was not nearly as tough as the first - but not nearly as good as yesterday either! Hiccups are of the devil - let alone sneezing!! But he is resting now, i will be thankful for that.
He sat up for about 45 minutes this morning and handled that really pretty well. He should be up again later today and then tomorrow he should walk - a little. Not a very easy process when there are tubes and such coming from everywhere! ( As many of you know, I have a hard time walking on level ground with no encumbrances!! )
Ronnie when i told him of your comment about warning the staff . . . sermon illustrations. . . he smiled, a little . . . I know all who know him can't believe it, but i really haven't seen that beautiful smile since surgery. . . I miss it . . .

Till next time . . .

Yes . . . "Great is Thy Faithfulness" . . . what a truth - "one" of my favorite hymns - if you don't know it. . . you will want to learn it, trust me. . .

Trying for 5th time!

Jeremiah 29:11 ... God is talking to you. I know the "not to harm you" part doesn't make sense to you but that's o.k. God understands.
Close your eyes, take a deep breath, feel His arms around you.
Love you both!

That's okay--even God had the hiccups (Is. 42:14 NKJV). Hang in there!

Praying for you guys!

Brother Aaron and Denise,
Thank you for continuing the updates. I couldn't leave work today until I checked to see if there was a new post! Ben and I will be praying that sleep and rest come each night and that it continues to improve...it will get better. Brother Aaron warms my heart with his smiles so tell him to keep them coming (even though I don't see them as often anymore). Surely he would like to know that I saw my nephew over the 4th of July and he is Jason ALL made over. :) He will have his hands FULL. Thinking of you both and praying often!
Love, Candice and Ben

Denise, We keep praying for supernatural healing and for peaceful rest for Aaron.
You are constantly on my mind, and I continue to pray for your strength, energy, and peace of mind - no fears, no worries!
God has you both in His grip. He won't let go.
We continue to pray.
Y'all are loved by the Templetons.

Denise,

Thank you and Aaron so much for allowing us to walk this path with you and to have specific things for which we can entreat the Father on your behalf. When I was growing up, we cured hic-ups by drinking a glass of water, or by scaring the person nearly to death... so, since it will be a few more days before liquids are allowed...well, at least do it gently and remember the "nearly" part! Tell Aaron that if he lies in bed for the next 20 days, he'll be as bald on the back of his head as he is on top...listen to the Doc's and when it's time, get on your feet, soldier!

Chris (not Missy; she wouldn't let me put her name on this one :] )

We are glad to hear of a better nights sleep. I'm glad you are giving us specific things to pray for, and the digestive system will be prayed for right now.
May both of you sleep soundly tonight, and wake up refreshed.

Love you guys,

Lewis and Teresa
