You are both in my constant thoughts and prayers. It was wonderful to hear the news that your body is begining to "awake", just like this body of Christ here at Summit continues to "Awake" to the Master through your guidance. "One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up. “There was a judge in a certain city,” he said, “who neither feared God nor cared about people. A widow of that city came to him repeatedly, saying, ‘Give me justice in this dispute with my enemy.’ The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself, ‘I don’t fear God or care about people, but this woman is driving me crazy. I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!’” Then the Lord said, “Learn a lesson from this unjust judge. Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?” LUKE 18:1-8

Tonight at Halftime, we shared the word about the "rumblings" and you never heard so many praises about noises of the tummy.:) Hope you have a wonderful night and each day will be better and better and better. Millie
Just wanted to make you laugh a little today. Remember how we used to make jest of those "ole-timey" country preachers, the way they talk? Like, for example, when they say "and in Matthew Chapter seven-AAHH...Jesus said-AAHH....it ain't good-AAHH." Those were good times indeed. I miss those days. I hope your strength continues to get better each new day. My Mother sends her thoughts and prayers too. She said to remind you of the Old Testament story of Job when you begin to think "why me?" Sometimes things just happen to good people. And sometimes there's a higher reason we don't understand. Anyway, just know that I'm sending prayers and positive thoughts your way.
Now for a little levity: An Amish boy and his father were visiting a nearby mall. They were amazed by almost everything they saw, but especially by two shiny silver walls that moved apart and back together again by themselves. The lad asked, "What is this, father?"
The father, having never seen an elevator, responded, "I have no idea what it is."
While the boy and his father were watching wide-eyed, an old lady in a wheelchair rolled up to the moving walls and pressed a button. The walls opened and the lady rolled between them into a small room. The walls closed and the boy and his father watched as small circles lit up above the walls.
The walls opened up again and a beautiful twenty-four-year-old woman stepped out.
The father looked at his son anxiously and said, "Go get your mother."
Aaron you show us what it is to love the Lord Your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Your life these last 5-6 yrs has been a great opportunity to blame God. No-- You have done nothing but praise Him and thank Him for what he HAS done. You are strong and God has made you that way so that He can use you for the greater kingdom. I pray for continued healing and more awakenings tomorrow. You be good now, ya here. Denise---I just don't know what to say. It appears to me that you are a perfect example of when God molds someone for a certain purpose. He molded you perfectly for Aaron and in caring for him during his greatest need. You are a blessing!! and I can see Jesus working through your hands. I love you both and you are in my prayers all day every day. Stay strong and go with JESUS. jd
I am glad to hear the rumblings also. That means you will be ready for the popsicle very soon. I am glad you are feeling strong enough to blog now Aaron but your wife has done a great job. You know in our Bible study recently we talked of how you always referred to Denise as your bride and how the church is Gods Bride. It was like light bulbs came on in as we realized what you really meant all those times you talked about the Bride. YOu do have a wonderful wife and family and I am so blessed that our lives have crossed in this life. You are very dear to our hearts. So glad each day is getting better for you. Dear Pastor Aaron and Denise, It is my time to Blog you. I think the tummy rumbling was "music to your ears". Maybe not Jimmy's kind of music but joyful sounds to you. Everybody knows that Nurse Denise has been with you every minute and no one else could do what she does. Praise God for Denise who loves you so much. And do we ever know that you love her. We do!!! Brother, we have been blessed that Denise has been for us a window into your world during your adventure, but I was so glad to see your words by your own hand today. Don't tell anyone, but sometimes my eyes leak too, as they did tonight reading your words. Praise God that He continues to heal you, both your body and your "heart". Work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who is at work within you both to will and to work for His good pleasure (Phil 2)! I'll be thinking about you and praying for you.
Denise, thank you so much for ministering to our brother while he is far away from our hands, but not far in our thoughts. We know that you love him immensely, but please love him a little bit extra for us too. Give him a hug, and whack him up-side the head when he needs it :] (we men need that periodically, just like when Missy just whacked me when she read my GAS comment above) We'll be praying for you too.
We are very glad things are starting to happen. Chris and I just got home. It is 10:46pm. We finished packing to go to CPR!!! We are looking forward to a fun weekend. We wish you go with us.
